Guangdong"s Three Female University Students Craft Shadow Puppetry for the Chengdu 2021 FISU Games.

At 8:00 pm on July 28, the grand opening ceremony of the Chengdu 2021 FISU World University Games will kick off at the Dong"an Lake Sports Park Stadium. Three female students from the South China Normal University"s School of Fine Arts—Lan Zongyi, Pan Luwei, and Feng Jiamin—spent over four months conceiving, designing, and crafting shadow puppets to represent 18 sports to be played at the event. Their works will be displayed at the grand ceremony. "Creating shadow puppets is just a small contribution to the Games, and we hope that through this event, the world will know the charm of Chinese shadow puppetry," said Lan Zongyi.

广东3名女大学生绘出皮影戏里的“大运会”

7月28日20时，第31届世界大学生夏季运动会将在成都东安湖体育公园开幕。为了参与大运会，来自华南师范大学美术学院的3名女生——蓝宗怡、潘露薇和冯佳敏用了四个多月，构思、设计、制作了表现18个比赛项目的皮影作品，这些作品将在大运会期间展出和表演。“制作皮影是我们为大运会贡献的小小力量，希望通过大运会，让全世界认识中国的皮影艺术。”蓝宗怡如是说。(更多新闻资讯，请关注羊城派 pai.ycwb.com)
